This camp is a time of joy and success as a camp for people with special needs. While at Calvin Center, having the time of their life in a supportive environment, the campers receive extra supervision and two hours with our Therapeutic Horse-riding program.  Campers will still have time for swimming in the pool, canoeing, archery and other normal camp activities. A high ratio of staff and volunteers ensures that each camper receives the care they need and a safe and enriching camp experience. A supplemental application is required for Reach Out participants, which must be approved by camp staff to complete registration. In order to create a safe place for all, Reach Out campers must be able to effectively communicate their basic needs and wants, maintain their own hygiene and bathroom needs, and be able to interact with peers and staff appropriately.
