ADVENTURE CAMP

Grades 3-5 

Adventure Camp is Calvin camp at its best. If a camper might like playing games, archery, lake toys, canoes, obstacle courses, hikes, seeing wildlife, sharing a bunkroom with friends, gathering around the campfire, S’mores, swimming in the pool, energizers, great food, and—well let’s just put it this way, if you love the basics of overnight camp – this is camp for you!

Nature Option:  Does your camper like being in the woods more than being inside? Is building forts in the woods a favorite activity? Nature Camp will be outside more than other campers as they will build a “Home in the Woods” to be their central hang out space. With all of the other activities of adventure camp, this is overnight camp at its finest. Campers will sleep in a cabin.

Saddle Up Horse Overnight Camp

Grades 3-5

Saddle up and then hang out at the Calvin barn!  It doesn’t get any better than this. For those looking to learn to ride a horse or for an intermediate or more advanced rider who is looking for a week of overnight camp fun—saddle up is for you!   Campers will gain confidence, become focused and develop social skills whole building a solid riding foundation under the supervision of our safety conscious PATH certified instructors.

About 2 hours every day will be spent riding, grooming or learning about how to care for horses. There will still be time for most of the adventure camp activities, so kids get ready for the ride of your life!
