FALL CAMP 2020
Arrival and Covid Protocols
When you arrive, you are asked to drive directly to the Office and someone will come out to greet you. The Office is located on the main entrance drive past. If someone doesn’t immediately come out of the office call 770-946-4276 or number otherwise posted on the Office Door Because of the Covid 19 requirements for sanitation and safety we will ask you about any exposure you may have had when you arrive. Everyone’s temperature will be taken upon arrival. Any person exhibiting a temp greater than 100.4 degrees, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, other respiratory symptoms, or at least two of the following symptoms: chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell at any time while at Calvin Center shall leave the facility as soon as possible.
We also ask that you wear masks while in the Dining Hall, except after being seated and eating at the table. We also advise you to social distance and wear masks anytime you are in an indoor common space and maintain social distancing in the outside spaces.
For more information or if you would rather not register online, please call the Calvin Center Office at 770.946.4276 or email us at office@calvincenter.org.
Stuff to Bring
You are welcome to bring your bicycles with you to ride the trails and enjoy around the site (please stay away from any horses on your bicycles). You are also welcome to bring hammocks to relax in, yard games such as cornhole, board/card games or puzzles, and balls. There is a volleyball court and several fields for playing soccer/football/softball.
Activities and Trail Rides
The cost for a Horseback trail ride is as follows:
- 1 Rider: $40
- 2 Riders: $65
- 3 Riders $95
- 4 Riders: $120
Each additional Rider up to 10 at a time will be an additional $30/person
We will be creating a schedule for Trail Rides for your group based on the registration/survey information you have provided. Other activities such as Kayaking or canoeing will be on your own time and are at your own risk. We will work hard to maintain a safe rotation of participants so cleaning can happen between events. Everyone in your group will need to have a mask and to wear it when near staff or other guests.
Canoes and Kayaks
Life Jackets must be used at all times. Please pull Canoes or Kayaks off the racks to for use as well as life jackets and paddles from inside the equipment shed by the lake. Those will be sanitized and ready for use.
After use, please leave Canoes/Kayaks/Paddles pulled over to the side on the lake shore. This will allow our staff to come and sanitize all equipment before they are used again.
Likewise, with life jackets, hang them on the rack outside the storage shed so they can also be properly sanitized.
Parents are responsible for your children. Your children should be in sight or sound of you at all times. Bring your first aid kit and sense of adventure.

We are asking that all campers commit to a covenant of conduct.
