COVID 19 Response

Calvin Center Covid 19

As Covid 19 continues to affect our community, we want to communicate to all of you that have plans upcoming at Calvin Center, and to any others who have interest in life around Calvin. With numbers of cases of the virus still increasing, and with the advice of leadership from the medical community and leaders in government, we have decided to temporarily close the office and activities at Calvin Center through April 17th (and likely through the end of April.)

There will be no Equestrian activities or lessons through April and all planned groups between now and April 17th have postponed or have been cancelled. Our office staff will be working from home, but we will be available by phone (still 770.946.4276) and by email as always. Open House scheduled for April 5th has been cancelled as well, but we do hope to bring you a virtual tour for all potential summer campers to check out. That’s right at least for now we are still making plans towards Summer Camp here at Calvin and we will remain patient to see whether it is safe to do so.

We also invite you to follow us on social media. You can find the links to our Facebook/Instagram/Twitter pages at the top of our website page in the green banner. We will be sharing Moments of Peace from Calvin Center on these pages over the next weeks. Hoping that with each of these you can find a moment to pause, turn your focus away from all that is happening around you and virtually move through God’s creation here at Calvin Center, taking a deep breath and finding a peace that passes all understanding. We also will be posting on social media if changes are being made at Calvin Center in the time upcoming.

Know that our staff is praying for our extended Calvin Center family and the world beyond. We continue to pray for our healthcare workers and others who are on the front lines in responding to this viral crisis. We also would ask that you continue to pray for one another and for Calvin Center as we seek to be available to serve the community around us with our campus site should our resources be needed.

The Peace of Christ be with you.
