• Our keynote speaker is Robin Humphreys. Robin Humphreys is a recent graduate of Columbia TheologicalSeminary. She has earned her Masters of Divinity and is a candidate for ministry under care of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. She and her husband, Paul, live at the Calvin Center in Hampton, Georgia where he serves as the Program Director. She has spent much of the last ten years serving as a youth minister, elementary school teacher, and college ministry director. Needless to say, she very much enjoys interacting with children, youth, and young adults and discovering, with them, the amazing love God has for us in Jesus Christ. She hopes that the church will continue to embrace the sacraments as a gift that God has given to us to use in the building up of the community of faith.
• Through out the weekend we will be doing a mixture of “back-home groups”. This is to allow the campers and leaders to be with their own and mix with others
• Consequently as a leader/chaperone you may be facilitating a “back home group” with your youth.
• We planned this retreat to have a very relational and experiential appearance to it. Therefore we have some great activities planned. Including making your own chalice etc and challenge course activities to assist in reinforcement of ideas.
• This is why it’s important for you to get your churches registration in early so we can assign groups and send you the back-home/small group handbook, and then you and your chaperones will be familiar with it.
• Send one check made out to the “Calvin Center” for the whole group
• Make sure you have at least one adult advisor per six youth of the same gender.
• We will open high ropes during free-time. This will be on a first come first served basis. And we will put through as many people as we can. This means individuals can participate rather than whole groups. (see release form below). All high ropes participants must be 12 years and old.
• Have your registration postmarked by November 17th. In order to ensure that everyone has adequate housing there will be no late registrations taken.

• Once we receive your registration, we will send, call or fax you with confirmation of registration.
• You can download directions to the Calvin Center from the directions page
• RETREAT STARTS AT 8 PM ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21st AND FINSHES ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23rd AT 12.30PM (AFTER LUNCH).

• One medical release for each participant in your group – release form is enclosed. Participants MUST have medical release and copy of insurance card to be able to participate in the retreat!
• Bedding, towel, clothing for all types of weather, toiletries, flashlight, and a Bible.
